    Default CRST

Is CRST a team only company??? I'd prefer not to team but I could live with it. Any one have any experiences with them good or bad I'd like to hear all. Thanks.

I know they used to be strictly team but I don't know if they have exceptions to that now. I worked there once for 3 mos. and I wouldn't recommend them to ne one. ....but that is just my humble opinion.

CRST van-ex is, I believe, still all team. CRST Premier will let you run solo.

Yeah, do that. I ran with them for a while and did pretty well, but I had a great partner and a good relationship with my dispatcher. A lot of people have had problems with that company, so maybe I got lucky, but we rarely sat and we had very few short runs.

The team thing has inherent problems - there are times when it comes in handy to have another guy available, but there are a lot of nuts, losers and scumbags out there that you might get paired up with (not just at CRST, at any company). If you decide to go team, do your best to get to know your potential partner a little before you get out on the road with him - get to know your dispatcher a little too, as that will make it easier for you to get routed back home if you need to change partners.
