I was just asking. Believe me, jmbooher1, when I read your post I thought maybe there was a glimmer of hope. That after the myriad of negative comments about Covenant, (and believe me there are plenty, here, as well as other forums) I had finally found someone who was actually sitting in the seat. The Midwest Regional I was offered sounds like everything I am looking for, pay, hometime, etc... I just wonder if it's too good to be true.

You really don't have to be so defensive, just tell it like it is, we can make our own determinations. Back up your point with facts not spewed in anger, and you'll get a lot farther, especially with people who, like me, are looking for a reason to say yes to Covenant

So what you are trying to say is that you got a $600.00 Safety Bonus? Fine. Yes, I am quite familiar with them. Have collected many, and regularly in the past. However, were I to list my weekly earnings, the safety bonus would have been left out of the net as it irrationally tilts the actual weeks earnings.

No, don't have tunnel vision. My peripheral vision is probably too good. 14 years in this industry and I haven't suffered any of the grief that most have.

I'm not the least upset that you are doing well. I'm happy for you, especially that you are doing well at a company that has a record for making drivers unhappy. Also....if you're happy and content there... more power to you, and I sincerely hope that it stays that way for you. 8)

But one thing that you have to consider: How many drivers who go to Covenant will end up on "dedicated runs", and how many will end up with any real consistency in their incomes? Like one other poster said: You can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig.
Forrest Gump was right....and some people literally strive to prove it.....everyday. Strive not to be one of "them".... And "lemmings" are a dime a dozen!

Remember: The "truth WILL set you free"! If it doesn't "set you free"....."it will trap you in the cesspool of your own design".

They lost my original "avatar"....oh well.
