Use the job search function here on CAD and then start making phone calls.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

    Default Driving Schools/Companies

Most any commercial driving school will accept you for training. The rub will be an entry level company who'll hire. Most won't with a recent misdemeanor. You might want to learn how to say "Do you want fries with that?" for three to five years. Truck drivers have to be bondable (insured) for the companies they drive for (freight is valuable). Bonding companies don't like dealing with people with a recent criminal history, doesn't indicate a good risk. BOL

Here we go again...not a week passes by we get another user/loser/abuser trying to get a license to drive a large commercial vehicle...here's a tip...

Go apply at your local McD's...at least you don't have to know how to spell or read (get someone to fill out the application for you), and your chances of killing someone or their whole family are greatly diminished...

You stated you have been clean for 3 years but you also say you have a drug charge that is 7 MONTHS old. So which is it??? If I missed something then please explain.
Find something you like to do, be the best at it you can be, the money will come.

I was thinking the same thing. Usually it doesn't take 3 years for them to charge you for a misdemeanor.

Even if it was 3 years ago, have you quit the drugs and going to stay clean FOREVER? That is the BIG question here!
If you think you can or you think you can't, either way you are right!

Doesn't matter where you have been, it's where you are going in life that counts!
