No joke about the heater, that darn thing will fry you out of the cab!
Never got the thing set any higher then a quarter on myself, and was sweating then!

4-6 months of OTR is the general base quals as far as experience goes.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.
