Another angry driver behind a keyboard that wants attention and another driver that failed at the easiest job in the world. I would really like to know the REAL story. How many times was he late? How many trailers did he tear up? How bad was his attitude with his driver manager? I cannot for the life of me understand how someone can fail working for one of the largest trucking company's that will hire almost anyone.

I worked there and I know that as long as you: deliver on time, no tear up your truck and have a good attitude and do your paper work correctly they will feed you all the miles you want because the other 75% of the drivers can't or just don't have the ambition (ie: driver's like Cluggy)

My story is well known on this board. The fact that you have to ask about it means you either didn't research it, or don't care what it is. But I'll tell you this.

I left because I could go to McDonalds and make make more. The bottom line is the bottom line. And it wasn't there at JB.

alright, you win, Cluggy. i'm going to hire on with JB just to see how bad they suck. fortunately for me, i've made so much money on JB stock over the last 4 years that I can afford to work for a company that sucks for awhile.

Haven't you all figured it out yet.

Cluggy has developed a JB fetish. :P :P
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

I haven't seen any JB trucks take off any mirrors like I have Werner in the past few months.

JB is the most profitable trucking company though (according to sheepdancer)

I work for Roadway, layoffs are common. had 3 months to kill so I killed the time with JB Hunt and turned out I made some good money with them.

I can't say if they are good or bad.... don't really know. But I do know this, Ole JB got the rest of the companies off the dime where pay was concerned when he raised his drivers pay and stuck to it..... He single handedly caused alot of payraises.....
Forrest Gump was right....and some people literally strive to prove it.....everyday. Strive not to be one of "them".... And "lemmings" are a dime a dozen!

Remember: The "truth WILL set you free"! If it doesn't "set you free"....."it will trap you in the cesspool of your own design".

They lost my original "avatar"....oh well.

I'm a bit busy right now, so I don't have time to contribute pages of "Useless nonsense"; however, I'll be happy to provide some element of nonsense as my schedule allows!!

So you start another thread on a subject that has already been done to death. I agree with flatbedder, grow up. I'm beginning to think you are some little kid posing as a truck driver. You probably not old enough to even have your learners permit yet
I'm willing to die to protect my Right to Bear Arms.

Are you willing to die to take them away from me?
