Default Well, I'll try this again. Another JB Hunt letter.

Again, this came to me and I'm hoping the mods will just EDIT out the part they don't like. I have to post the entire thing as I got it.

husband. We was over the road and hardly bringing in 400.00 if that.
He changed dispatchers. Nothing changed. Then he went to the
railroad. Hoping that would bring in mopre money. and so far he is
doing worse. One week he brought in 200.00 and one week he brought in
300.00 We don't know what to do. We are going to have to go on state
assistance which i hate because we are not making it. JBHunt has
really let us down. But the bad thing is they have great insurance.
So we are stuck between ar rock and a hard place so to speak. So I
know what you are talking about.
The bottom part I think is a responce to the letter above. I post them as I get them. I don't write them. If anything comes up positive for JB, I will post that as well.

Any comments? Except those you complain about beating a dead horse. I'm making horse burgers tonight.

Yes I know the feeling,we lost our house and now we are living in a rental that is in very bad shape but can't even afford to pay rent.Even tried for public assistance which is denied they say he makes to much I can't see how. We give Jb one more week .My husband has switched to regional but still he is not getting any miles. If things don't pick up he will quit .He is thinking about joining Whiteline express. ***.*************.COM
He was told that he could be making better money there .And home time should be better as well. I wish there was anything we could do about the lies we were fed by the recruiter and the money we are not making.JB hunt is a very large coropration but don't give a damn about the drivers or their families. We are so far behind in bills its not even funny.I agree on the insurance but if the pay is not there and you can't make ends meet there is no sence in staying .You will just wind up like us losing everything. Have your husband check out this company .My husband has over 22years experience and makes less than his youngest daughter at burgerking which is a shame. There are a few sites where you can put a resume in and they will send you responses fast. Blackhawk transport is also looking for drivers. their phone number is 1800 *******, Whiteline express is 888 *******.
Good luck and I wish i could help out more.
Again, mods, if there is anything you don't like, please edit it out. I took the liberty to edit the numbers. Thanks.

You're welcome to post them if you want. I would, however, ask that you edit out their e-mail addresses. Having them posted in the header probably isn't the most kosher thing to do.

Plus the Fact that probably 90% of companies with Company drivers will always have someone saying the same thing about their company.

I am still trying to figure out how, with 22 yrs experience, that he is still struggling like that. I have barley 10 yrs and I am not struggling like that. You can't blame that on JB. I think there is more to this story than is being told here. I am not saying that you are not posting all the letter. I am just saying that the writer is not telling all the story. I think the writer is just writing this to get noticed. It is probably all BS. I know several JB Hunt drivers and I have talked to many more and I have found only one that was unhappy there.

I don't understand why you would drive for JB Hunt if you have 22 years exp. , JB is a company that targets frustrated company drivers just starting out OTR and gives them a better alternative than staying out weeks at a time with a high amount of dedicated freight .

I don't know why in todays market anyone would work for ANY bottom tier OTR company with 2 years of experience, much less 22.

There is far more to this story.

I did. I went with JB Hunt because the process was quick. I was layed off and didn't want to wait 2-3 weeks to get into an orientation. They also got me in a truck and rolling faster than all the other company's I talked too. They also didn't care that I was going to leave when I got the call to come back to work.

Dispatchers, Load Planners and Driver Managers go through tons of piss poor drivers and when they see that they have a good drivers they are going to give the good loads to the good driver and they know that they will deliver on time.

The problem with letters like this is that we will never know what influence the drivers own choices and attitudes had on their situation. I don't believe for a minute that any of these letter writers didn't contribute towards their own unhappiness.

All of you have valid points....22 years, and the best he could do is JB? I agree. However, it doesn't make the driver or his wife(who is posting this letter) a liar.

And folks, let face it. This board doesn't like JB Hunt bashers, or anyone bashing other companies, except for the extream bashing of CRE. Other boards have their complaint box filled with "hate mail". One board had over 113 pages on why not to bother with JB on one post alone..

And this site was given to me by JB Hunt safety personal for advice and tips on the road. That's why it's so funny when people post there that they are having problems with JB.

Kosher is food fit for consumption according to tribe elder/jewish rabbi. Back in the day tribes/clans would get wiped out by eating disease infested critters. To preserve/protect the tribe, the elder (wisest?) ok'd the food they could eat.

That's why they don't eat pigs.

As Jules so eloquently stated -

"Hey, sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I'd never know 'cause I wouldn't eat the filthy mother#)(!&%. Pigs sleep and root in feces. That's a filthy animal. I ain't eat nothin' that ain't got enough sense enough to disregard its own faeces."

Presumably, thousands of years ago Pigs In The Wild were even filthier.

Hope I brightened up your day

Logically it makes no sense for a company to have 14,000 rigs and dispatching department conspiring not to let any of them move more than a thousand miles a week. They didn't get that big sitting in parking lots and avoiding freight.
