Default Companies that offer "Practical Miles"

    Can you help?

I am trying to compile a comprehensive list of those companies that offer "Practical Miles" versus "HHG Miles".

    Thank You!!!!

I think CFI and Gordon are also practical miles carriers.

CFI definitely pays "practical miles". I don't really know anything about Gordon.

Superior Carriers and Carry Transport are also very much "practical miles".
Forrest Gump was right....and some people literally strive to prove it.....everyday. Strive not to be one of "them".... And "lemmings" are a dime a dozen!

Remember: The "truth WILL set you free"! If it doesn't "set you free"....."it will trap you in the cesspool of your own design".

Default Practical Miles verses Hub Miles

Poly-Trucking pays Hub Miles. Hub Miles is much better than Practical Miles. www.poly-trucking.com

A question: Who determines the route that the miles are paid on? Does the driver or the company? Not been a wiseguy....just wondering 8)

I can picture you running from Houston to Chicago by way of your place in Florida and submitting your 'hub miles.'
Reading this blog will make you smarter and/or more attractive.

Actually, I think they go "gate to gate" as in prefigured hub miles.....at least thats what a Roadway or Yellow driver told me.

I think youre right, Skywalker. A friend of mine drives for Fed Ex Freight. If I remember right, he told me that they pay by the hub.

I would think its the same as us at UPSF. Pre figured from gate to gate, never changes and its spot on. We have regular route and hazmat route. If we have to go off route for construction, accident, etc we just tell them what it was and they pay us for that too. So in a way I guess it is by the hub.

Don't know about Poly but I am paid hub miles and I determine the route that I take. They leave us alone unless are miles are real high and then they question it.
