    Default BARNES AND NOBLE:

Just curious if anyone knows anything about the Barnes and Noble account?

Or do they have their own fleet?

I've noticed nothing but nice petes hauling trailers with their name on it up and down the NJTPK.

Also, their warehouse (only one?) is right off the turnpike at about exit 8?

They sell a LOT of books. Like truckers some of the books are great, and some just suck.

    That's o.k.;

The truly mediocre offer stupid jabs in the absence of true wit or information.

    This is serious.

I am telling you, every one of their trailers is pulled by a nice pete 379.
This is one of those secret, unadvertised probably awesome jobs. You want to joke around and not pursue it, that's your thing.

    Not mine.

Please, if you don't have anything helpful to add, please don't respond at all.

    Thanks.

Not mine. Ok Ok to be serious they probobly have a company contracted to do their work for them and that pete was probobly a contractor should have tried to get the the driver on the radio to find out about who he worked for.

Have you thought of going into a B&N and asking someone? Might be a good place to start!

I found this little gem about B&N on the "Poop Report" --

In the tradition of nothing is as good as it sounds, I would have to say the most disgusting bathroom of all my jobs was at Barnes and Noble.

    Hopefully there trucks are better!

The cool thing about Barnes n Noble is you can sit in the store and look at the book and not even buy it well unless you really like it

The trucks are pretty sharp, well maybe were since it was Dec. '01 when I was there.
