    I don't know about the Portland branch, but the Darigold drivers in Chehalis and in Seattle are union drivers. Local 66 in Seattle..not sure about Chehalis, but I think they are in the same local.

    Yea the Ptld branch is union, they pay "activity pay" vs. hourly for most stuff. I have already had one interview with them/

    I could of had a job with them but the activity pay and the schedule just didn't work for me. You're pretty much a slave to the man until you get any kind of bid. Did they give you the nonsense that they have a lot of guys retiring and you'll probably get a nice shift sooner then later?

    Lol no they did mention people retiring but not so soon. I know how it is with bids and being the bottom feeder at union shops and how ya gotta pay your dues blah blah blah. I wouldnt expect to get a "nice shift" for awhile but what works for me might be different than the people that already have the good bids
