1-week to go....

I will finish Central Tech this Friday. Crete is still # 1 on my list, my # 2 is Groendyke Transport (bulk tankers) out of Enid, OK with a terminal here in Tulsa. Does anyone have any info on Groendyke? I am just basing it being 2nd choice on the visit by the recruiter. :shock: Oh no I just broke rule # 2 on CAD, I believed a recruiter. Well I might as well go sign up for a lease purchase now, oh no :shock: I just broke rule # 1 on CAD. I am out of control. Seriously if anyone has any comments on Groendyke I would like to read them. As I enter my 4th and final week at Truck Driving School, I again want to thank each of you that has given me advice over the last year or so. You all be safe out there. I promise to change my avatar one of these days.

Yea I cheecked out the Big "G" website already. It lacked great info. The Tulsa terminal manager called me this morning to set up an interview for next Mon. She answered my two most important questions already. I guess I should have known already hauling a hazmat tanker would eliminate any "rider policy", I was right. No riders anytime with "G". Then #2 was insurance does not start for 90 days. Really do not want to pay 3 months of Cobra. I can afford 1-month, not 3. The regional sounds great, and an occasional national run when regional is slow, I am all for that. They will remain the backup at this point, and I will still go here what she has to say next week. Till then, "hey Crete, my phone is on my hip!!!"

Howdy dk long time no hear. How goes it with Maverick? Let me hear from ya. I have 2 1/2 days left. Got prehires from all sent apps. 2nd choice was Groendyke regional till found out no family rider policy ever. So still holding out for Crete.
