Have you done a search on here? I recall someone posting about them a while back, can not recall if it was good or bad.......I know that's not much help, but good luck.

well it is a company out of denver, and with all companies out of denver like navajo, western and a few others they think 27 cpm is big money.but if you have a cousin that work there you should already know the good or bad.if your standard's are low enough for you to work for 24 to 27 cpm then it sounds like it would be a good fit for you...Good Luck
well I'm getting 32 cpm which isn't the best but its good My cousin won't tell me much and I'm wanting someone elses viewpoint

I did drive for them nearly 6 months. I caught my self Job hopping so I wanted to stay at one place, so I was forcing myself to make Navajo work out for me.
They were Low paying. When I drove for them they only paid 24 cents amile and did not run you many miles. They have a hard time to get people to come and work for them. There was suppose to been 30 in my Orientation, but only 2 of us showed up.
Did I have problems with them? Yes. They did play Doctor. They directed me to come off some Prescribed medications and Drive the Truck. They are Not Doctors, and I was sick cause I over did my self trying to get enough miles to live on. So yes I was fired cause I refused to drive under the influnce of Medication.
You will haul alot of Coors Beer, Beef, and Kodak Film.
They do maintain their equipment.
Give me the Sea or the Open Road
Isnt Navajo the guys that have that chick painted on the sides of the sleeper? Had the orange K whoppers?
ya that's them.had a friend that worked there for two yrs and had to take off about 6 weeks to help his mom get things in order and moved because of his fathers death, called navajo and told them he was ready to come back and they said he would have to start back at TRAINEE PAY and ride with a trainer for 4 weeks!!! this is somebody that drove solo for two years with them..A REAL s@#t hole company..who don't you try hill bros, they are reefer and dry and run alot between omaha and texas and pay 34 cpm to start{not the best but better then 24cpm}..
I have to go with Elgaul , Hill Borthers is an excellent company to go with , they do however require two years exp.Originally Posted by ELGAUL

Me neither. Yeah, I looked them up. Navajo is who I thought they were. I have seen them as long as I can remember.Originally Posted by yoopr

I actually ran into one of their drivers at a service plaza on the "Pike" last week. He was having problems with his truck. I guess he had been there for awhile. He wasn't too happy. He bitched for awhile and I wished him luck. He asked if we were union and then siad he wished he worked for a union company. I doubt you would want to work for a place like that.
I think the female on the side of the truck is just supposed to be a Navajo girl. At least thats the way I took it.
