    This is a list some people on here may recognize. the company that I drive for gives this to all of its drivers. It is a list of everything that a driver can use as a tax deduction. There may be a lot of companies that give this out, I've only drove for one company so I don't know, but it seems like there are a lot of truckers asking about what they can and can't right off so here it is...

    airplane fair(home to job), paper clips, hangers,
    air freshener , paper/notebook, ice,
    armorall, papertowels, jack strap,
    alarm clocks, parking, lap desk,
    antenna, pens/pencils, laundry bag,
    atlas, phone, loadlocks,
    batteries, physical(dot), locks,
    bengay, pillow, magnifying glass,
    boots(steel-toed), power booster, maps,
    boots(work, rubber), power cord, money order charges,
    boot repair, radio equipment, de-icer,
    breif case, rain gear, watch(limit $25),
    brooms and dustpans, razors, w d 40,
    buffer to shine truck, reading glasses, window screen,
    bunk heaters/fans, reciept book, laundry detergent,
    bus fare(home to job), refrigerator, liqiud paper,

    XM and the other satellite radio services are deductible also, Safety Devices. This has stoud up to a court ruling against the IRS.

    Also remember and be careful: If the company offers reimbursement of a drivers expense on the road, but the driver choses not to apply for the reimbursement. That expense is no longer deductible. Ex: tolls, truck washes, oil, etc.

    Arhhh, I typed them out in rows. Now they are all in a cluster and it is kinda hard to read. Sorry guys, I'm new to posting on here. And yes, there may be a couple more than what is on here, feel free to post any. But there were many that I never would have realized and thought others may like to know.
