Deja moo. It's when you feel you have heard this BS before.
How are there trucks?? They told me that i wouldnt be in a truck more then 2 yrs old.
Run the other way. You will sit and wait. you never make any real money cause they have like all big carriers sorry dispatchers. Who will not let you run hard enough to make any money.Originally Posted by jrhbull

Don't fall into the trap of basing your conclusions on the opinion of any ONE person in an internet message board...including me.
Do your homework and decide what fits YOUR personal preferences and expectations.
Well Jb Hunt sounds good over the phone but thats not always true.Ive been told $900 weekly before and never came close.
it all depends weather you are dcs otr or intermodul i suggest going in under dcs which is what it sounds like they offered you ....i am home every 5 days have great benefits and paid practical miles under jbhunt...truck sucks but i am here for the pay and hometime not to be a speed racer or drive the best rig though i do miss my inverter......
I drive for KLLM, do not know anything about JB. Here is my last 3 weeks gross 1482.00, 1313.00, 1175.00. Now, I stay out 3-4 weeks at a time and go home for 3-5 days. I never have figured out why guys will drive for a company that figures your hometime in HOURS. What can you do in 36 hours other than get ready to go back out.
I am sure that JB is a good company. They did not get as big as they are by treating their employees that bad.
Good luck to you.
The said id be southeast regional. They say you get pay per mile and also trip pay??They said ill be home every 5 days with 36 hours off that is pretty dumb 36 hours off come on how bout days?? why hours like you said
I got a call the other day from a recruiter, said they were starting something new, running local, day cab, home every night and off on week-ends for International Paper, 36cpm, plus paid for stop-offs,should make between $800 & $1000 a week![]()
:?: anyone else heard anything like this :?: :?:
Here's a link, put in the type of job, i.e-OTR, Dedicated, etc..., then pick which state.
JBHUNT
BOL to you!
@DeanAllen2006
I got a call from a friend (drives for Barr-Nunn and contacted by a JBH recruiter) that thought I might be interested...home every night. But he was told $750 a week and pulling out of the paper mill in Barton, AL which is about 30 minutes from my house.Originally Posted by seadawg
Slightly tempting but too big a cut in pay for me.
I'll stick with PGT and flatbedding.
Strange, but, I told the JB recruiter that I was leaning real strong at going with Barr-Nunn, anyone drive or know anything about Barr-Nunn?
