West Side Transport, Good or Bad?

I'm interested in diving for West Side Transport in a regional position out of Kingsport, Tn. Does anyone know anything good or bad about this company?

Thanks Sealord for your reply. What I would really like to know is, is this a good or bad company to work for? What's the pros and cons? Sure, I know that their safety record is important but I need a little more info than that. I can't believe that no one here has never heard of or had any experience with this company.

Got a call from West Side Transport this morning and I will be starting orientation on Wensday. I am really surprised that no one on this forum knows anything about this company. Anyway, this sounds like an "A-Okay" company to me. Just as well, I don't need to hear a bunch of negative BS before I start work with this company. I think that it would be fair to say that at least 97% of the post I have read here is negative BS. And that's par for the course in truck driving. Seems like 97% of truck drivers I have met is cry babies.

I have been working here for 6 mths and I will say they are the best otr co I have ever worked for.I have gotten home every time that I have requested to.They are very easy going as long as you deliver your loads on time you will not have any problems here.All of their terminals are nice and they all have wi fi.The benefits are ok and you willnever be asked to do anything illegal or unsafe.All I can say is that if you dont mind staying out 1.5 weeks at a time you might consider otr they pay you .42 cpm to start and you will basically be running the same area.I hope this HELPS THE ROOKIE TK NO 25024
