Default LINK AMERICA EXPRESS....any info on them?

    www.linkamericaexpress.com

their web site is pretty small, but I got a call from them today. It doesn`t look to bad, even tho they have regional jobs they don`t guarantee home time but the bigest downfall was the benefits..they don`t have any benefits for O/O`s .So far I think Crete has one of the best benefits together with Barr Nunn, wich is very important to me since I have family.Any toughts on this company?

Well that answered my ponders. Their ad had said .50 a mile, all drop and hook, and no northeast?..... Too good to be true I see again...lol. Thanks.

Are there any L.A.E drivers in here, or someone know of one. I called the company, and ran them down my usual twenty questions, mind you they didn't sound perfect, no company does, but they seem to me like they are on the up and up. I've only seen one L.A.E driver, he lives a county away from me, but I never see him at the house on a time I'm on that end of town.

L.A.E pay scale is on a sea=saw, but if a driver was to keep moving, and they didn't use brokers for back-hauls, looks to me like a driver could make out pretty good there if willing to stay out three clicks at a time like me. Anyway just looking for a word from inside the clock tower there, and I might be rounding up my bags for Tulsa.

    Thanks in advance.

    Default Link America

I also have a Link America neighbor about 1 mile away. He is never home either. But when he is it for 3-4 at a time. Truck ain't much to look at and his mobile home sure isn't,, so I do not know where all the money goes.

    its bad :!:

its wierd that many companies wont let people take pets..

but they will let people smoke like a stack in the truck

so the next driver that comes along and inherits the trac has to live inside a stale ashtray.

    what a bassackwards planet

ps:crete man sez 1 pet no kore than 75lbs....no wolfhounds or st benards

Crete doesn't enforce their pet rule religiously. I was at the Columbus yard talking to the term manager when a women driver pulled in with 3 dachshunds and he didn't even blink an eye. Saw a guy at the Wilmer terminal with a St. Bernard. Said it was his last trip with the dog because he was getting too big!

Are you willing to die to take them away from me?

my husbands foster dad drives for link america and really hasnt had too many problems with them. (more his wife who has a gambling problem.) he did lease purchase and now owns his truck. when he would get his home time and would call in for a new load (he refused to get a qualcom in his truck) if he didn't like what they offered he told them no and they would find him something else. he's still driving with them but isn't out nearly as much as he was before he got the truck fully paid for. he likes it there and suggested to my hubby that he go there to drive. i doubt we will but that's just a personal thing. i would suggest them to anyone looking at them.
