well hey there, lets see looking for a job, that depends on a few factors. (sense there are a lot of choices) lets narrow it down with:

Are you willing to go Long haul (Over the road)?

Are you looking for local?

Are you looking for flat bed? Van? Tanker?

Then you have to see about miles, pay, equipment is a big factor at times.

all those are good things to think about, it will really help ya narrow it down.

By reading his posts lately, I think he would take just about any driving job. Unfortunately, his driving record is preventing him from getting anything.

Hi doug33,

I think that might help you. Visit this website:
http://I_am_a_retard.com
Dipwad Exchange is the world's largest neutral trading hub for the Sameday courier and express freight exchange industry.
Positions that they offer include bike courier jobs, lorry driving jobs, LGV jobs, delivery driver jobs and jobs in logistics management and distribution.

Alternatively, go to the 'sister site' to Dipwad Exchange:
http://www.my_mother_is_my_sister_an...my_wife.co.uk/

If you are interested - go to their site and register online.

Hope you get your new job soon.
Good luck.

That has to be the dumbest spammer ever. Looking for UK bicycle delivery people on a truck driver message board.

How many tickets or accidents have you had in the last 3 years? It seems weird that the big companies wont take you on as a trainee. Do you have any driving expeirence or fresh out of school?

Well Doug if those two tickets gave you 3 points or more on your license then you will have a very hard time finding a driving job (big truck or not). The only thing you can do is keep putting applications in and hope for the best. You may actually have to end up waiting a year or so until the points drop off your license.

I know that isn't what you want to hear, trust me I was there before I got one speeding ticket when I was 18 that screwed me until I was about 20. Now I have no points and have not even been pulled over since then and that is the ticket to getting driving jobs.
