Default JB Hunt miles vs TMC dollars to truck

OK . . . not sure how many folks I can get to answer but here goes.

JB Hunt drivers . . . can you tell me how many miles you're averaging per week or month (whatever's easiest) during the last few weeks?

TMC drivers . . . what are you making TO THE TRUCK per week during the last fe weeks?

Some drivers say there is an industry-wide slow down . . . some say they're doing great. I think it would be interesting to see what a cross-section of drivers are doing in two different types of industry segment.

    Thank you

Look for posts by "goldies plating", or something like that, I think he pulls for TMC. BOL

For the time I was with JB Hunt, 1700 - 2000 per week. Only once did I get 2300 miles. But there are those who do/did better than I.
Deja moo. It's when you feel you have heard this BS before.

I had the opportunity to speak with a JB Hunt driver this morning in Arlington ,Virginia. He was waiting in his cab while being unloaded. I spoke with him only a few minutes. Here is what he told me:

Been with the company 2 months.
Runs a dedicated route making 33 CPM.
Says he likes JB and the benefits are great.
Averages 2500 miles per week but this week will do 3000.

Probably so. He was at a new building where the upper floors are still being finished. Also sheepdancer, a while back I asked you about CDL training for prior military. I believe your web site gives training dates but I haven't been able to find where I would go to school if I signed on with your company. You might have told me Oklahoma but I don't remember.

I tried to average aroud $4000 to the truck when I ran OTR. Now I'm on a TMC dedicated account in NJ and make a fixed $1100.00 per week.

When I dont have a trainee I usually average between 3500 and 4500 to the truck. I have put more than that and less than that. It just depends on how frieght is moving and what area of the country you land in.
