You are quite right. I apologize for confusing Central Freight with Central Transport. I was wrong, pure and simple. Jerry Moyes controls Central Freight, not Central Transport. My humble apologies to the OP, must be the early Alzheimer's setting in...meanwhile back at the ranch....

LOL....P.A.M. Transport is also owned by the parent company of CT.

During my brief tenure with PAM, I had to "visit" a few of CT's drop yards in metro Detroit........"junkyards" would be a fair and equitable assessment. Sub par trailers, lots were in deplorable condition, and there was tractors that wouldn't be worth more than the scrapyard price.

I observed a CT driver getting in an OLD Brigadier( mid-late '70's model year, judging by the hood and quad round headlights), attempted to start it to use.......ventilated the block in about 20 seconds!

My wife attempted to persuade me to hire on at the local CT terminal here in Indy a while back. I humored her, filled out an app.
After an initial interview, I remembered what I had seen 5 years earlier(see above).....needless to say. I wasn't impressed by what they had to offer.
    Take pride in your ride......

    Basically CT is a horsesh*t company that abuses it's company,lease and O/O.
I can't believe they get guy's to lease those old wrecks for top dollar and poverty level pay.
