    Default A Passmore (Prime Jr)

I can tell you that this WAS a great company. Now that it has been bought by Prime, it seem like drivers are leaving it like rats from a sinking ship. The attraction for this company was Home every weekend offset by lower pay than other flatbed companies. Well the pay is still .34 CPM start but the home time is getting shorter and shorter(A weekend does not consist of getting home at 4AM Saturday and having to leave early Sunday to pick up a load for Monday AM delivery) also seems like there's less mileage and more sit-and-wait for a load time, etc

Basically, their new motto should be

"Hey, we don't screw you as bad as Prime, but we're trying"

Prime bought them out,or merged with Passmore a few months ago. A guy who lives down the street from me,drove for Passmore. He has a FAST Trucking truck parked at his house now.

This is the first time I have heard anything negative about Passmore. I'd like to hear if any current or past drivers have had any bad experiences with them.

nrvsreck drives for them, last I knew anyhow. He was happy when I talked to him several weeks ago. I'm sure he'll post here eventually or you could probably pm him.

I have a neighbor that I THINK still drives for them. (White Pete's/flatbed). He was always home on Friday afternoon and never took off before Monday am. However, I have not seen him or the truck in about a month. I know he still lives there, but perhaps he bailed too. I spoke to him several times about Passmore and he used to rave about them.

I don't know anything about the company, but I can tell you a TON of their drivers park at the Love's in Wichita Falls, TX.

Heh, I'm still here. I missed the exit for the Flying J and was to lazy to go back to it, so here I sit with Subway instead of Wendys.

I think it sucks! I didn't realize I needed to take the exit BEFORE that damn loop/split, that's why I passed the damn exit cuz the signs say Old Jacksboro HWY to the left and 287 to the right. You're right, it's almost as confusing as the BIG town.

Always remember to take the Old Jacksboro HWY exit. I hear a lot of guys asking how to get there, and a lot miss the exit. That part of town is confusing.

Is that Total truckstop in Jolly any good and is it right at the junction of 287 and 82? I wasn't sure so I just stopped here.

Yeah,Jolly truck stop is a good one. Full 24 hour restraunt, and chrome shop. Lots of goodies in the store part. Good parking, even though, they try to cram 500 trucks in the 200 truck parking lot :P

Yeah,I'm sure you will roll through here again. I see lots of Crete trucks. :P

Yeah,Jolly is a good one,of course it's easy to see,and easy to get to. Ya know there is the Love's,on Windthorst Rd,and the hook is on Jacksboro HWY. There are a couple more truck stops on the north west side on 287,but not much there. Just a couple of convenient stores with truck parking, and a small fuel island for trucks.
