I am recently retired from the Navy on a medical retirement. I am thinking of drving. What companies are good? I am inexperience and need training. A big point for me is hometime. What companies are good with hometime and what compaines should i stay away from. Want to know from the experts out here.

Flatbed companies like TMC, Maverick, McElroy, Boyd Bros, etc tend to be pretty good about getting you home on weekends.

Flatbedding does involve a lot of physical work in all kinds of weather. I'm not sure if that’s ok for you since your leaving the military for medical reasons.

I am from North Carolina, i would rather have regional, but with no experience don't think that's going to happen, dont know what i want to pull. Whatever i can get that can keep me close to home.
