Curious has any one heard of this company? They are posting a job in the job posting section of this board. I live near one of the places they were asking for you to be near. I saw one of their trucks in Florida the other day as well. Equipment looked ok and definately was not governed.

    Anyone?

    Thanks

Overdrive or one of those magazines just did a story with greatwide as one of the top 3 companies in the country for average earnings.

It said in the overdrive a O/O would net 115,000 this year.

Greatwide is an investor group that buys trucking companies as well as commercial property, department stores and other things. I worked for an O/O that was leased to Dallas Mavis which is owned by the group. I went to Greatwide Dallas Mavis orientation and learned enough about them to decide to steer clear of them. They mostly buy out companies make corporate level changes that have the snowball effect in eithier a good way or bad way, they are running dallas mavis into the ground.

I can't speak for Dallas Mavis but the Brisk fleets are doing great.

Why do so many small companies end up ruining thier drivers careers and why do so many drivers think they'll get treated better at a smaller company?

I have not found the news article but they are not an American owned company
Why do so many truckers ride motorcycles? Is that the correct question or is it: Why do so many bikers drive trucks?

The Daubi company bought into them.
They still have Investors from the US. including the company who sold them who kept a percentage and a private investor in Texas with a large stake as well.
