    Default Koch Trucking ????

Koch Trucking ??? Just curious here. Noticed a lot of them in this area. Did a search & no results. Website is not very detailed, more or less a place to park the company phone #. Can't recall ever seeing a thread about them.

What area do you live in? I work for Koch Trucking, they are a good company. I'm going to assume from your name you might live in Oklahoma. If so they have a Bestbuy dedicated out of Ardmore OK, or a K-mart dedicated out of Lawrence KS. Home every weekend on both accounts, and if you live close to one of those locations you can be home through the week also.

I like their name. Perhaps I should sue them for copyright.

    Default Koch

Where I grew up, not that far from the Twin Cities, it's pronounced koe. I guess Germans in the upper Midwest can pronounce the same letters differently. BOL

Little more info, they have a 2 day orientation held in Minnapolis, MN always on Tuesday and Wednesday. They will fly you up on Monday and put you up in a really nice Radison hotel in Roseville, MN. All transportation to and from the airports and hotel are already set up before you get there, so no money out of your pocket. If you are picking up a truck somewhere other than Minnapolis, they will fly you back to that city to get it. They feed you breakfest and lunch both days, so you just need to pay for dinner. Orientation is held right there at the hotel in one of the conferance rooms and lunch is catered by the hotel resteraunt.
Also they do not pay for these 2 days of orientation, to some people thats a big deal. Hope this helps.

The trucking company pronounces it COOK, as I do. But it can be pronounced COKE, or KOTCH, or COOK.

It is not uncommon for the pronunciation of names to be changed between the country of origin and the country where that family immigrated to.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.
