Which LTL companies hire newbs besides conway and old dominion?

not many, I dont think, I know Wilson requires a year I think...but you may be able to work as a dockworker and get a chance to run P&D after a bit and work your way up like that...ASK THEM, LTL is great! If you dont find one in your area that will hire you, you might have to run for someone who will till you have some experience....GL

A lot of the foodservice carriers will. Distributors to restaurants and convenience stores. Depends on the area and how bad they need people though. What I would tell any rookie (as I was when I got into local work) is get on the phone and star calling around, put your app in, see if someone bites.
