Default How and where can I make the most $$$ in the first year?

I'm just about to start CDL in December. I'm willing to pay for it if I have to. I'm in Texas right off I-35 (near Waco).

I have a strong back and good work ethic. Not afraid to work long hours or do hard manual labor. Being home is no concern. Once every few days to pay bills and cut the grass is all I need.

What industry pays the most: flatbed, refrigerator, vans, bulk?

What program: dedicated, line haul or local, long haul?

What company will pay me the most during my first year?

I'd say TMC has the most POTENTIAL earnings for a first year driver

You can also make good $ running team or working for a good LTL carrier.

    In GENERAL?
    Flatbed
    Longhaul
    TMC

Keep in mind, longhaul will keep you out 2 weeks at a time which can be tough on family life. Remember too that flatbedding is a bit more difficult physically than van driving.

If you have any questions about TMC, feel free to PM or call me anytime.
