Unless you really want to run team and stay out for at least 21 days a time look somewhere else other than CRST.
If you do not have the money to pay for CDL schooling yourself, check with your local employment office to see if you qualify for a job training grant. Also the local JTPA office may be able to help.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.
Try Schneider
A walk in the clouds is like a walk on water
no Swift or CRST...try to find a smaller co. first, then look at big if nothing solids crops up. Where r u in FL? Wheres Dundee? Look at local options too!
The advantage of starting out at CRST is that you will have someone with you to help you out with backing, paperwork, sliding the tandems, etc.
The disadvantages include limited privacy, having to sleep in a moving truck, trouble getting home if the other driver does not live near you. The inside of a truck is not that big. Even little things like listening to different types of music to smoking can really make you mad at you teammate.
Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend team driving for anyone unless, you already have your own partner picked out (wife, good friend, etc).
