    Check your PM's
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

    Default Thanks Uturn !!!

Thanks Uturn for the PM & the name to look for.

As for your post dollarshort; funny you should metion welfare line because... When my wife was laid off after 13 years with WorldCom, she actually brought home more than I did in Unemployment. So those that complain about trucking company training pay for 2-8 weeks at 400-500 a week... work for the state of Oklahoma for 10 years and see what you earn. You all drive careful out there !!!

    Default Thanks all...

I appreciate the offers for Q & A from current Crete drivers. Thanks to all that posted a reply. The folks on this fourm have always been quick, honest and informative. I as a wannabe  appreciate it. I guess I am worse than a wannabe, I am a wannabe with a 5 year plan.
But some day..... Be safe out there !!!

What an a**hole. Always talking out your ass about things you know absolutely nothing about. Which, come to think about it, is just about everything.

What is your problem with me? No I don't talk out my a**. I just state facts.....Well sometimes it's just my personal opinion. No I haven't worked for Crete but I did talk with them about a job. Why would anyone want to commit to 2 weeks out at a time? Any company that wants you out more than a week is wasting your time. Why would you want to take your 34 hour reset in some nasty truckstop a thousand miles from home? Again, just my personal opinion. Maybe other people find that schedule appealing. Not me.

    Default So?

What does the LOH of over 450 miles have to do with home time?

Let's see a 450 average means about 2700 miles a week. That is easily done from Sunday to Friday.

Hell I have worked for companies where their LOH was 2,000+ miles and was still home every week.

So you're saying you got 4000 miles a week and got home after running 2 trips? How long did you get to stay home?

I bow down to your 660 miles per day/6 days a week supertruckerness.
