    Default BFL Trucking

Has anyone heard of this company?? They are based out of Rockport Indiana which is only 30 to 35 miles from where I live but I have never heard of them. They have a terminal in Owensboro KY and a couple in PA I think. They called me today and gave me their spill. Any info would be appreciated.

My husband drove for them last summer to this winter. The front office and dispatch crew are a great bunch of people. He was home every weekend and they fairly well kept him running when he was out on the road.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the catch, why did he move on? They pay by the mile and they use PC Miler.....this is an industry standard that guarantees not to be more than 10% off the actual. BFL pays by the short mile, which is, they pay the shortest route possible and not the most practical. Also they have a safety bonus and it was like pulling teeth to get the bonus cause they always came up with reasons not to pay out. This never made sense because when the driver makes money so does the company so why so strident with the bonus.

I went to the terminal in Owensboro and looked at their place. It was pretty shabby at best! I did not see the one in Rockport IN though.
