Is religion now a race? I mean it's silly and people who belive in this ridiculus fantasy make belive stuff should be embarrassed and shamed into reading a science book! But is it now racist to make fun of poeple who believe in Zeus or other silly myths and fables?

Roadking it is pretty obvious to me that you are uneducated about the bible . The bible is a history book not a fantasy book. Do some research. Scientist are proving it to be true everyday.

If you get your request let me know what company you went with so I can have mondays and fridays off ..well atleast mondays ..you see I work out on the road an Monday is leg day ..and friday is chest and back day and it would be great if I could get these days off to accomodate my fitness beleifs.....this would be much better than trying to fit these things into my 10 hr shut dwn at the end of a long day..... :wink:

It's not an insult.......But my point is if trucking companies make special arrangements for your religious beliefs and lifestyle...then they would have to make the same arrangements for everyone Else's life style :wink: ...Be it lifting weights or going to the casino on Saturdays....as Religion is choice ,and life style just like any other choice and life style ..and shouldn't be given .."SPECIAL" accommodations .....


Oh and you can't be "RACIST" towards religion....As "RELIGION"...is not a "RACE".... :wink:

But Josh would still require special treatment and days off , And the driver who wants Saturdays off to go Gambling at the Casino might be just as good of an employee....So why why should Josh's religious pass-time be given special treatment over any other pass-time.... :wink:

I hear what your saying. but you do have a right to religious holidays but asking for every Saturday is probably not going to happen. Most Churches believe in worship on Sundays but in today's world that just isn't practical. I believe You can still worship it doesn't have to be on any special day or any special building. I can pray and read my bible anywhere. :wink: :wink:

Just to let anyone know...I did find a job. Working for Maverick Specialized, LLC who has been very professional in my opinion. Great company to work for and they are working around the fact that I need Saturdays off.

Im sorry to say but that may be a difficult one to do given what Ive seen thus far in this line of work. Years ago, I worked for wally world and their most of the overnight maintence crew was a religion that said they could not bathe for a month. I dont know what religion it was because I wouldnt get close enough to ask them and they barely spoke ennnnglish. ahhhh the good ole' days, Id rather not resmell... I mean relive those days. :shock:
