I am a female with 1 month OTR, 3 months Local. Graduated from Kirkwood Community College Truck Driving School in Cedar Rapids Iowa in May of 2012. I want to get experience to go anywhere. I had a Class A permit since '96 and drove 2nd seat with an ex hubby for a few years (can't verify) got my Class B in "06 and drove Bus (school and city) till 2012. Any ideas on where to go? How do you get experience when nobody will hire you. My last employer put me in a truck alone for 3 months and I did great. NEVER had 1 issue. And with only 1 month of driving and trucking school he got me insured with no problems. I have all endorsements....and I live in SC. I would even team with the right person to get the experience I need. I drove hopper bottom in IA and I LOVED IT. Would love to go back into that but OTR. Thanks in advance for any help!
