Default Still looking for a good job

Youngstown,OH based driver looking for a decent job. 39 years old, 5'10" 225. I dont smoke, I dont drink alcohol, and I dont do dope. Never have. CDL/A with Hazmat, over 10 years OTR, no accidents, 1 speed ticket in car Feb.06. Spent 8 years in US Army, and did a lot of truck and bus driving there. I have driven everywhere in the US, Europe, and some Canada in all kinds of weather. I have been around the trucking block a few times, and I do not need to be babysat. Tell me what needs to be done, and I go make it happen.

This past year I have found it unusually difficult to get the plain truth from companies I've worked for. If I'm lied to or misled, I quit quickly. I try to be quite clear about what I'm after from the beginning. I dont lie about my past experience. I see no point in lying about anything because eventually it catches up with you. A lot of companies dont seem to take this approach. They hide behind their recruiters and their scripted recruiting pitches. I prefer to speak plainly.

What I am after is this: A decent late model long nose truck with a little power and capable of the speed limit in every state run. Freightliner, Peterbilt, KW doesn't matter, although I admit to being partial to Peterbilts and CAT motors. An APU or permission for inverter/fridge/microwave.

Reefer or van work. I am wiiling to stay out a few weeks if I'm kept busy. I am not a lumper, although I will unload for fair pay and if Im not worn out from driving. I do not go into Canada anymore by choice. I wont be forced into NYC, although I will go if there is some incentive. Other than that I'll go pretty much anywhere. I am looking for upper 30's cpm in pay minimum. If I cant make at least $1000 a week consistently I would not be interested. If the equipment is old, smelly, and dirty, or the motors are castrated I would not be interested.

I am not interested in large fleets. I am not interested in expedited.

If you can help me call 330-318-9796 or briantmiller@hotmail.com.
