As an avid professional football fan, sirius has my vote because they have the entire NFL package available. Great to keep up with your team while you're on the road.
Love my xm..... haven't turned on regular radio since i got it....(only took 2 weeks and HAD to put one in my 4 wheeler)
Features i like...... MLB!!!!(just caught my first preseason game today)
OPIE and ANTHONY (These guys are awesome)
Repeat feature
I'm going with sirius.
If 'd been aware of ommerical-free radio, I'd have had this long before I became a trucker!
I chose Sirius because of the programming. Besides gobs of classic rock and oldies stations, weather and traffic reports and trucking news, they have *two* NPR stations, a PRI station and a world news station.
As a matter of fact, I'm leaving to shop for my radio in a few minutes...
xm.. got it while driving car hauler locally.... live in nh.. and as i'm sure you all know when you get to northern vt and me... you get country contry more country and the ocasional french canadian channels..can't wait to get back otr and listen. xm opie and anthony. i've been lucky to live in the ne area heard them on waaf and wbcn my metal stations comedy news and it's much cheaper than sirrus even with the recent price hike
learning as i go
I'm thinking of getting xm-went to walmart today and noticed that the package is down to $75-Down from the Old list of $159
Anybody know how much the subscription fee is? It wasn't listed on the box
XM is $9.95 per month, Siruis is $12.95 per month (I think)
:edit
Just saw on the XM website, their price is raising to $12.95. So, that changes the concept of going with the lower price.

Thanks
It was Dumb of me for asking seeing that computers are for looking things up-Duh
thanks again-yeah i see it's 12.95
I love sirius
You might want to go with XM as I think Sirus may not last too long.
Err...... hey Greg! What does this flashing red light mean?

XM here, however, I'm not too pleased with them losing the NASCAR MRN broadcasts after this season. I may have to switch during the off-season!

I wonder what the basis for this claim is?Originally Posted by Maveric
I'm going for sirius as well. I'm a huge NASCAR fan and broadcasts will be on sirius starting '07. Good enough reason for me.
Yeah warsaw, sirius gets nascar contract in 07'.
Sirius is on track to pass XM soon. Growing much fasterOriginally Posted by Maveric
I'vve had XM for almost a year now. I bought the XM Radio "Roady 2". A couple of weeks ago, Delphi sent me an offer to buy a couple of other doo dads and I did! I bought a device that I can place my radio into and make it into a "walkman" type radio. It's VERY cool! It listed for $149.00 and I got it for $20. I also bought the home kit (normally $50) again for $20. The programing is pretty much the same deal as the other network. Its like arguing over GMC's and Chevies. I can also listen to XM radio on the computer using my account info. I also have not listened to "real" radio in quite some time. trying to listen to regular radio on HWY 70 going across to Wichita Falls is a HUGE waist of time.
Amen-enuff said! Have XM, preparing to switch to Sirius, mainly because of NascarOriginally Posted by Yanke_driver
