??? Don't choose J.B. just because they are the most popular answer, pick the company that you feel really does not take the time to hire quality driver. :wstupid:

Only when you know you've done the best you can, are you truly satisfied.

The choices were rather thin, someone forgot to mention CRST and not too far behind them comes USA Truck and I'm gonna add my personal favourite US Express. After a slight to-do at the 104 exit ramp in Virginia, I questioned my sanity to still be driving and the validity of the US Express drivers parentage. I must admit the exit on to 207 and the entrance to the Flying J is not really well thought out, but to drive across three lanes of traffic without as much as a glance to the left leaves one wonder!!! I'll leave the rest to your imaginations!
:aktion071.gif: I have a question for Dr. Who. Why did you
mention CRST for hiring bad drivers? I was wondering because
I received a pre-hire from them yesterday. I probably won't
choose them anyway because of their pay package/tuition
reimbursement amount. Thanks.

Any comments on best companies for husband/wife teams. We live in central Kansas, want to move to Pueblo, Co area, and like to be home every 2-3 weeks, even if just 2-3 days.
OH MY :sauer007: did someone forget to mention SRT?
[color=#000000ost_uid0]ok now i can answer this honestly now that i ve been out for 4 wks, during that 4 weeks and 48 states,i seen 3 swift rollovers, and the numerous truck stops i went to i saw 5 swift trucks take someone front end of truck off,(different trucks different stops)12 swift truck in hammer lane might i add speed limit was 70.we all know how slow their trucks r.And if this says anything.listen to your radio when at the truck stops, swift gets annouced once they hit the parking lot,as a warning to other drivers to watch out here comes a swift driver. And i lost count of the numerous times i saw a swift driver weaving in and out of the shoulder as if they were half asleep which at 62mph im sure they break the 10 hr rule just to make up for how slow the trucks are surely they cant be rackin up the miles.so yes i have to say swift.would like to list a few chicken haulers but them guys were doing 90 blowin by me i never could catch their company name hahaha [/color

In my view, trucks that are governed way way below the flow of traffic is a road hazard. make the trucks at least able to stay with the flow.
Think of it this way, Ma and Pa Kettle on a sunday drive on I-95, monday morning, northbound, in the middle lane. Major traffic hazard.
"We will not waiver, we will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail." George W. Bush
Swift because of there slow moving trucks. My Dad had a good saying. "A fast moving target is hard to hit" And you know something the man in all his life never had a single ticket or accident. And I agree with kenworth75
Trucks should be able to keep up with the flow of traffic. Hard to do in a 60 or 65 mph truck out on the oklahoma turnpike. Or any other place that has a normal speed limit.
None of the above! I mean original question!![]()
swift for any number of things like Sure Wish I Finished Training, Or what do you get when two swift trucks leave a rest stop? Ten empty parking spaces.
I don't know, may be i drive in a different reality! But i rare have a problems, with above mentioned fleets. If you ask about a company, i'd say "Gainey" from IN. If you ask about tipe, i'd say reefers, and "trash haulers"!
But it's just my observation, didn't mean to offend anybody. And like i posted b4, i still belive, that 1 to 3 years drivers, are most dangerous,
cause of "overconfidence"
in all truth and reality, the larger the fleet the more you are going to see problems such as poor drivers more chashes. The reason for that is simple law of averages more truck equal more drivers equal more chances for things to happen. it is fun to joke and kidd around about the swifts out there. But i bet percentage wise every company has bad drivers. It just is not as prevelent as the big companies. So I do have to say Solo your right its a mute point.
Hey! What about We Employ Rookies No Experience Required (WERNER)?
I always have problems with Amstan drivers in big black KenworthsOriginally Posted by solo379

There are no stupid questions.
Only stupid answers.
"Always", means since june 7?Oh! By the way, there is only one "black kenworth", in a fleet, and i happend to know the driver! You have nothing to worry about, trust me!
