  • Very good idea. May take a little time but will eliminate them.

    Default Good idea or bad?

In the past, various species have been "hunted" into extinction. There are various species that are currently on "endangered lists" across the country, and very highly protected to keep them around. Even species that are hunted, have seasons so that they are not over-hunted.

But, what about species that are not wanted? Suppose various species get let loose in the wild, begin breeding, and the population begins to run away? Currently, there are something like 9 people that are working to remove invasive species from the state. It seems that they are not able to keep up with the increasing population. And, the news gets worse.

More recently, another species has begun breeding and is about to get away from any controls. The fear is that the new intruder, the African Rock Python will cross breed with the Burmese Python and produce a "SUPER SNAKE". They have cross bred in captivity, but I have not heard the result, if it produced a larger, stronger, and more aggressive snake or not. However, the African Rock Python will strike at ANYTHING. And, while they seem to be a bit smaller than the Burmese, the largest Rock Python in the world, measuring 17 feet, was recently caught in Florida.

But, the best guesses are that between the two, the result will be a snake that is larger than either of the two of them, and more aggressive than the current African Rock Python. There is a proposal to increase the pressure on them in order to eliminate them. The proposal is to "SHOOT ON SIGHT". And, put a bounty on them. To hunt them into extinction in the state of Florida.

So, the question is, the bounty on pythons:
    Destroy the cities...
    and they will rebuild them.
    Destroy the farms...
and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.

Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...
and grass will grow in the executive offices.

    The bill has come due.
    ( R E T I R E D , and glad of it)
