Is New Jersey Part Of the United States???
Yeah someone did once claim that NJ was still part of the original 13, let's see who was it.... MMMMMMMMM, oh yeah, Tom Kean did and he was real adamant about it too!!! :P :P

Oh that's not to be confused with Adam Ant!!!
Why is it when I press one for ENGLISH I still can't understand the person on the other end???

We need a LOT of 'em in VA. For one, we need one near Lynchburg (other than Oldy's, er, Goldy's, on US-29). For two, we need one (or more) around mile 137ish on I-81 in Salem to alleviate the Exit 150 fiasco that's mentioned in another thread. This would also ease the pain of those going through rest stop withdrawal. For three, up around Covington where I-64 crosses the VA-WV border, we could use one there.
As for its proximity to DOT scales, eh, that's kinda relative. Heck, I've only crossed one DOT scale in the past week (last week I only did about 1,800 miles though), so I'm spoiled.

What I would like to see is cardio machines like stationary bikes and tread mills in driver lounges so you could get a good 20 to 30 minute cardio workout, catch a shower, grab some food, and then head back to your truck.

Hmmm.... 1,800 miles in one week.... Not your only source if income, eh?

For that matter, the parking for any of the current truck stops needs to be QUADRUPLED. Not nearly enough parking at any one of them, including White's Truck Stop. Most "SHORT-SHEET" the parking and expect to stay in business. No parking, and I don't even slow down, much less stop for fuel. Something we all need to do in order to give them the message. And, Winchester, VA has one of the Flying J's that I don't even slow down for.

How about some truckstops in south FL, the few i usually see in Ft Pearce, Fl are jammed full and you could be stuck waiting, depending on the company you drive for, for a while. And add one near Ticonderoga, NY. I could rant but those are a few places thats crossed my mind

Actually, it is a silly subject. The original question is flawed, in that depending upon which way you're traveling on I-81, no matter where they put the truck stop, it would either be before or after a scale more than likely, since most scales on I-81 sit across from each other.

As for the mileage, it accounts for about 50% of my paycheck. Stop pay and unload pay take care of the other half.

In regard to White's, I have NEVER seen all the spaces full at that place, and have never had to park in the back either. The Flying J at Winchester, well, yeah, I'll give ya that.
