    Default Other jobs.

Just wondering what jobs other people were doing before getting into a truck. I worked on ranches, worked at the feed store, and rode bulls.

I drove a truck, before I started driving a truck.

I did farming, and I still work part-time farm work on the weekends, etc.

Like plastic explosives or what exactly? Sounds cool. Burnt out is that a play on plastics?

Product designs, tooling and manufacturing. If you have an invention, I am the one to get it done for you. I have designed products that you all have used if you drive a vehicle, flown on a plane, have appliances in you home just to name a few. I am proud of my work and have enjoyed it but now it is being outsourced and it is no longer a good career. I made less this year that I made in 1975.

Filled vending machines and drove a straight truck for the same company a couple times of the month. Then those bastards promoted me and put me behind a desk. That didn't last to long

well i started working full time at 17. Being a lobarer on a blacktop crew. Runing jackhammers and shoving hot rock. At 18 i got my cdl class a and started driving the trrucks at the same company. Moving backhoes, bull dozers etc. on tag alongs. Then i left there and drove a septic truck for 3 years. Left there went to work on a tugboat for 2 months. Now im back to driving a tri axle dump truck.
Where i work now the owner is giving me a little seat time on backhoes and bulldozers. Next week i get to run a PAN for a couple days. :P
