How many people drive with their truck headlights on during the daytime? How many drive with their truck headlights off?

The only times I drove with my headlights on during the day was when it was required, when raining, overcast, or snowing.
I always drive with my headlights off at night. It makes it more interesting. :PHEADLIGHTS ON OR OFF AT NIGHT?
Mewas wonderin' about that myself, Rev!! :shock:Originally Posted by Rev.Vassago
i run with them off. why wear the blubs out. So when you do them at night they will be burn out. plus i like the look of the parkin lights on only when its just gettin dark. I drove a truck one time with day time runnin light couldnt not shut them off. I pulled the fuse.
100% always on when the truck is moving
8) First thang I do when I get a new truck, is pop out the fuse.
I drive with them on all the time. If I'm ever in a crash, the other party can't claim they didn't see me because my lights were off. Doesn't use any extra battery power that can't be replaced.
If them 4 wheelers can`t see an 18 wheeler, they shouldn't be driving. :x
well, i guess they need to pull a lot of licences thenOriginally Posted by madpuppy
A lot of people shouldnt be driving, but they are.Originally Posted by madpuppy
Just a reminder to new drivers.. if you turn off your headlights going into a scalehouse (leaving just the parking lights on)... dont forget to turn'em back on once through. 8)
I have daytime running lights.

My headlights are always on
i drive throughout the night time, so my lights are on during the day, because i like being seen by others. even during the daytime, the halogen headlights on the volvo trucks are difficult to miss! if only i could change them to red during the day. they'd look like a terminater's infrared eyes.
Always on.
Reasons:
1. Inattentive drivers. (talking, texting, etc.)
2. Weary drivers. (needing more rest/sleep)
3. Older drivers. (greying of America)
If I could figure out how to do it, I'd hardwire the headlights to turn on when I'm in a forward gear. That way the tail lights, etc., would last longer.
Bottom line: I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can think of so that other drivers can see me heading their way.
Anything worth living for is worth dying for.

I run 'day runners' on my tanker. They are on all the time with the key. You can possibly have a sparkie wire a set of day runners, Hella have a good set available which are gaining more acceptance and are very bright.Originally Posted by BigWheels

Company policy is lights on all the time, and 4 ways on when pull into a parking lot. I follow all company policy. The job is too good to lose over lights.
