The only times I drove with my headlights on during the day was when it was required, when raining, overcast, or snowing.

i run with them off. why wear the blubs out. So when you do them at night they will be burn out. plus i like the look of the parkin lights on only when its just gettin dark. I drove a truck one time with day time runnin light couldnt not shut them off. I pulled the fuse.

I drive with them on all the time. If I'm ever in a crash, the other party can't claim they didn't see me because my lights were off. Doesn't use any extra battery power that can't be replaced.

I run with mine off all the time, even at night. I try to turn every day activities into challenges.

i drive throughout the night time, so my lights are on during the day, because i like being seen by others. even during the daytime, the halogen headlights on the volvo trucks are difficult to miss! if only i could change them to red during the day. they'd look like a terminater's infrared eyes.

    Always on.

    Reasons:
    1. Inattentive drivers. (talking, texting, etc.)
    2. Weary drivers. (needing more rest/sleep)
    3. Older drivers. (greying of America)

If I could figure out how to do it, I'd hardwire the headlights to turn on when I'm in a forward gear. That way the tail lights, etc., would last longer.

Bottom line: I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can think of so that other drivers can see me heading their way.

I run 'day runners' on my tanker. They are on all the time with the key. You can possibly have a sparkie wire a set of day runners, Hella have a good set available which are gaining more acceptance and are very bright.

Company policy is lights on all the time, and 4 ways on when pull into a parking lot. I follow all company policy. The job is too good to lose over lights.
