When I am mising my father, the song "Old Man" by Neil Young pops into my head. I always turn it up on the radio when I hear it.

Well first of all I wouldn't be embarrassed to admit liking anything by Waylon Jennings. But as long as were resurrecting an old thread...as a teenager I watched Grease...yeah this is gonna be bad...I fell in love with Olivia Newton John singing Hopelessly Devoted to ME! LOL!

What a weight off my shoulders!

I love spiritual songs or something with a deep meaning about God and life. It's not actually embarassing but some think i'm too sentimental with these songs.Jesus Take the Wheel by Carrie Underwood really makes me realize a lot of things about life and journey.

Years ago, there was a song they put on the juke boxes in the bars, not for broadcast... THE WOODPECKER SONG. Funny if you listen to the words.

"Peckin' all day in my back yard..
What do you use to keep your pecker hard..."
    Destroy the cities...
    and they will rebuild them.
    Destroy the farms...
and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.

Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...
and grass will grow in the executive offices.

    The bill has come due.
    ( R E T I R E D , and glad of it)

George Michael- Freedom 90. For some reason, Ive always loved that song. At least I can sorta feel like a man because the video had all hot female models in it.

Also something that is almost as embarrassing and my friends are still making fun. I thought Prince ROCKED during the Superbowl.
+1 on liking Freedom 90 too. There's something about that redhead. I like the song too, well written, good music, good singing (although I hate to admit it).

For something I have no reason to like but still do, my pick is Sugar, Sugar.

Another is "Tearin' up my Heart" by N'Sync... Don't hate!

"Big girls don't cry" by Fergie
I just like it, not because of the lyrics, but overall just a good tune! And Fergie's a hottie! She has beautiful eyes!

I have a few, but the two that came straight to mind was "the sound of music the one with Doe a Dear etc" the other is any of the songs on Grease..
On the edge of sleep, I heard voices behind the door
The known and the nameless, familiar and faceless
My angels and my demons at war'

    At war...

'Which one will lose depends on what I choose
Or maybe which voice I ignore...'

    Wilderness of mirrors
    Streets of cold desire
    My precious sense of honor
Just a shield of rusty wire
    I hold against the chaos
And the cross of holy fire

    Wilderness of mirrors
    So easy to deceive
    My precious sense of rightness
    Is sometimes so naive
    So that which I imagine
    Is that which I believe
    RUSH
