    Wilbur there has got to guzzle fuel. You would have been better off with a diesel.

    He sure does; keepin' the miles off him so we can hopefully trade-in for a diesel. (We have a smaller version of "wilbur"- a 98' 1/2 ton silv.- better on gas thats 4 sure.)

    Sorry a Dodge is the only way to go with a Cummins engine. Or a older Ford with the 7.3L.

    now your talking MACK a 7.3 one of the best pick up motors ever. My 6.0 has not gave me any trouble yet knock on wood. You cant beat the good old 12valve cummins. Turn the fuel pump up with a screwdriver lol. Dodge or Ford is the only way to go IMO. But you cant beat a ride of a chevy. But then again it is a pickup so who cares about the ride anyway. :wink:

    Yeah the truck I drive now has the 7.3L and it will out pull my dads new truck wich has a 6.0L moter.

    As far as the ride my F350 rides real nice.

    UPDATE: I've had the GMC 3 months. I still LOVE IT pulls like an animal, it's quiet unlike a dodge looks better than a ford and rides like a caddy.

    I like all the ones mentioned, But I buy after I check with Consumer Reports, so what ever they recommend, that is what I buy!. I have never been disappointed 8)
