I got a KLR 650 and even the biggest H.D is still a pig but can be easily passed since an H.D rider doesnt know how to ride the thing in the corners anyway

    LOL
have you ever ridden an HD???

It basically corners like a bookcase. They're cruisers (period)

W/ exception of the VRSC (Night Rod) I have owned several crotch rockets in my time. KZ1000 w/ custom turbo kit (too fast for it's own good) RD400 etc.

I still love my HD's tho.

I had a little pocket rocket (Honda CBR 600) that was great fun in the North Georgia mountains but had to get rid of it when I decided to go without health insurance for awhile. Either I was going to lay it over and get some serious road rash at the very least or some other crazy was going to plow into me. I saw it happen far to often to take my chances.

I just bought my step-dad's old '82 Maxim 650, and am in the process of learning to ride it. It's a lot cheaper than continuing to put gas in my conversion van, at these prices...

I've actually got 3 motorcycles, soon to be 4.

    I've got a 1971 Honda CB350, a 1978 Honda CB750, and a 1979 Kawasaki LTD400 - I got all 3 for free.

The CB350 was abandoned in a storage garage, they asked if I wanted it, I said sure. Had a friend who owns a garage do an impound sale to get me a title (doesn't run).

The CB750 sat in a friend-of-a-friend's garage for 15+ years not moving, has 13k miles on it, got the title, but it needs all new carbs, rebuilding them wouldn't help (doesn't run).

The Kawasaki was a friends bike, it died on the side of the highway and he had no way to tow it - he was so angry that he said if I could get the thing off the highway, then I could have it, just so he wouldn't have to pay the tow/impound fees for leaving it on the side of the highway (kinda runs, I wouldn't trust it to go further than 10 miles from my house).

The 4th bike I'm getting is going to be a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250 - it's a tiny little crotch-rocket, but something about that advertised 70 mpg appeals to me, and brand new the bike runs under 3 grand, also, I love the sound of that little engine spinning up towards 14,000 RPM's.
