    Default which is bigger?

    plain and simple question which surprised me when i found out the answer. which is larger, the state of oregon or the united kingdom of great britain and norhtern ireland?

    Oregon is larger at 251,419 sq km or 97073 sq miles.
    The UK is at 241,590 sq km or 93,277 sq miles......

    and whats the population of the UK? About 60 million if i'm not mistaken...thats not much space for you blokes across the pond!!

    thats right mate! 60 million of us on this little rock 37million cars,285000 trucks and similar number of buses. its gets a bit hectic sometimes

    its about 64 million at my last recolection plus all the ilegal immegrants that have dissapeared and cant be counted.
    Yes its a very small island and we have very poorly educated car drivers that make driving a truck somewhat of a chore than a pleasure.
    Compared to Canada which is the second largest continent in the world next to Russia and they (canada) have only 32 million people living there.

    Mmmmmmmmmm lots of open space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
