Brands like Justin or Nocona aren't very popular with the Wal-Mart crowd. I think Wal-Mart would have a heart attack if they stocked $300 boots.
Destroy the cities...and they will rebuild them.Destroy the farms...and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.
Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...and grass will grow in the executive offices.
The bill has come due.

I put Wal-mart because I buy footwear at a local wal-mart type discount store. The difference is that the boots I buy are made in the USA or Canada. I don't care how good your superboots are I won't buy them if they are made in China, because China made boots only last one third as long. I don't have anything against China or it's people, but I think that the companies that look to save a nickel by manufacturing in China are also cutting corners quality-wise on the products.
I am not so sure Windwalker, I have seen some boots in Wal-mart for $149.95, so $300 isn't that much of a stretch.
Nothing is foolproof to a talented fool.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I buy at the Oakley store or Oakley Online.
I generally by my Sam & Libby ballerinas that I wear while driving my truck at a Footwear Warehouse store. Boots are too uncomfortable if they have higher tan a 4" heel.

I usually by mine online through Mason Shoes. I buy those that are made of genuine leather and are made in U.S.A.
You ordered this stuff, now get it off my truck. It ain't my job to load or unload, it's to get it here safely.
You mean to say you guys don't wear UGG boots with the fuzzy inner liners?

Speaking of,.. Justin, and Nocona are the same company. H.J Justin, the founder of Justin boots started his business outside of Nocona,Tx.(who woulda thought :shockOriginally Posted by Windwalker
Well, his sons worked there, and so did his daughter. His daughter opened up her own place. Called it, Nocona Boot, right there in Nocona,Tx. Nocona is just east of Wichita Falls.(45 or so miles) They closed down the factory a couple years ago, and moved it to El Paso, and somewhere in Missouri. When they did that, it closed down the factory after 100 years.(I remember from the local news) Nocona has fallen apart, since. I used to think that Nocona Boot in Nocona was just a local family owned company, till I drove OTR. I was in a western store once in Grand Forks,ND, and I saw some of the belts that Nocona makes. I couldnt believe it. It blew my mind that there were boots, and belts all the way from Nocona,Tx.
Also, Nokona, who makes cleats, and other sports stuff, is also Nocona. Somehow, Nocona was mis-spelled, and they just kept the name, Nokona. You wouldnt think that 2 major boot companies come from a little town, in the middle of nowhere in north Texas.
