Exclamation Carrier Profile - APU? - add to company profile.

As I was browsing through the different company profiles, it would be nice to know if the company trucks have APU's (auxillary power units).
It could be listed under "general info" or under "bonuses".
Example: APU = Yes - 40% of fleet.

    Just a thought.

This is one of the first things I would ask a recruiter along with detailed idle policy information...if a company has no APU and has a 30% or less idle allowance based on percent of moving run time you can bet that company is trash ...May trucking with no APU and a 10% idle allowance and fuel charge back plan to the driver for time over 10% comes to mind ...yes you can call dispatch for more time ,but come on 10% of 50 moving hours is only 5 hrs ,so what will they give you 10 maybe 20 for the week ...LOL
