    Red face Mass email?

I think it might be a good idea to send out an email to the CAD users to let them know about the new message board format and to let them know that probably they are not banned. Probably. I don't know. Maybe you banned me and I shouldn't be here right now. I mean, I am a bit of a troublemaker, I suppose. I can always get another email address... lol.

    BOL.

If we were truly banned we wouldn't be able to set up new accounts from the same IP address. Also if you look at your old profile it says ACTIVE. At least mine does. Somebody fubbed duck bad.

I doubt they'd ban the IP address- after all, some users may use the kiosks at the truck stops and those would be non-changing IP addresses. If they banned someone from one of those IP addresses then no one would be able to use that kiosk to get to the message board. And if someone uses an air card (which a lot of users do) the IP address changes all the time so banning the IP address would be a moot point. But maybe the IP addresses did get banned- after all, they didn't mean to ban any of us. Okay, maybe some of us. But not this many of us!

I DID have to change over to IE from Mozilla in order to login, so I'm not sure what the deal is. I logged in on Mozilla, found out I was banned, and couldn't log out. So much for that!

I know (now) that I wasn't banned. But it did catch me off guard. Ha ha.

I never saw a banned message, only that my password was incorrect and my e-mail address was not found.

The user database was apparently not lost. The Rev is posting as himself with the same amount of posts. WTF?

Maybe this forum software will send me all of the thread updates and not log me out when I request to stay logged in...

That's the message I got originally. I followed the link to change my password and then it told me I was banned. no reason. Some people seem to have made it through the db conversion, but most didn't.
I've never felt the need to pretend I'm something, or someone, that I'm not. People either like me or they don't. I'm happy with who I am and that's all that matters.

Is Rev posting today? I clicked on his profile and the most recent post it showed from him was yesterday morning. Could just be (yet another) quirk. Don't know.

I posting with the same user name and post count and even got my avatar back up. All I had to do was request a new password. Now if I can figure out why my signature don't work

He hasn't posted under his old name, don't know if he setup a new one or not.

The sigline has a 255 character limit and BB code is turned off, so no colors or anything.

Well the new format is interesting to say the least. I'm sorta set in my ways in a lotta things but I'll give it a chance.

They seem to be turned off again. I'm hoping it's because they are changing the size back to something we can see.
