    Fairly young too. I always enjoyed watching him in football and commercials. Didn't see any of the police academy movies.

    I read somewhere once where it said that NFL'ers had an average of 12yrs taken off of their lives because of all the hits they take throughout their careers. You see alot of these guys dying at kind of eary ages, I think their may be some truth to that.

    The first time I saw Bubba was the Police Academy movies.

    He played on the line so he took a lot of hits to the head, saw a pic of him from a year or two ago, he was really looking rough. Wouldn't have had a clue it was Bubba if it hadn't been mentioned with the pic.

    Same here, Mr. Ford. I never heard of him before Police Academy. He was funny.
    I hear that he was just as tough on the field. I hate to hear of his passing.
