Default Mike Leach is going to CBS.

Mike Leach is going to be a game analyst at CBS this season. I can't see him doing that. His funny remarks will be perfect, but I didn't think he would be the type. Maybe so. His pirate personality might be a perfect fit.
I guess he is gonna do this for a while.

Eventually, Leach wants to return to coaching college football, but for now he's living in Key West, Fla., with his family, diving for lobsters, using a bicycle to get around and neglecting a huge stack of books he was hoping to read.

He said he bought a bungalow in Key West, famous for its beautiful beaches, laid-back atmosphere and offbeat residents, last year as an investment. He and his wife planned to rent it out.

Instead, it became their home in January after his time in Lubbock came to a messy and hasty end.

Considering Leach's personality, it seems like a perfect place for him.

"We don't even have a car," he said.

"We bought four bikes. I went back to Lubbock, packed up eight boxes, shipped them to Key West and put everything else in storage."
I love it, man knows how to fall off the grid the right way. I wish I could do that one day.

Adam James is a whiner............his dad ruined his future by jumping into the middle of it. He showed he was a baby who had to relie on his somewhat famous dad to get his way in life. He wasn't some high school kid under 18, he was a college student that was an adult and should be able to handle things by himself. Did his daddy go to professor's and jump their crap for giving his son a hard time in class?

Mike Leach and Jack Arute have a radio show on sirius 122. It think it comes on at Noon, and replays at Midnight. Called, College Football Playbook, or something. Leach was funny. I was listening to it the other night. Normally, it's Rivals Radio with Bill King, but Arute and Leach was on for some reason..

That's got to be odd hearing Jack Arute talking football instead of racing. About the same oddness as hearing Eli Gold call Alabama football games instead of NASCAR.

    Yeah.
Arute seems to be doing well on the show. Both, he and Leach. Pretty funny stuff. They have guys call in, and they discuss stuff.
This one guy called in the other night. Leach said something about the guy's knowledge of football, and the guy said that he's a ref. Leach was like, "Oh really?? What conference??" The guy said he was a high school ref. Leach asked him if he ever makes bad calls, or how he reacts to the fans booing, etc.. The guy told Leach that he tries to make the right calls, and he has had some people tell him about this or that. Leach said, "Ya know... we have the Freedom of Speech, unless you are a football coach." Then he said, "One time, I explained how the refs made a bad call on a touchdown pass, that they said was incomplete, and it was a complete pass, and it cost me $10,000."

Listened to Leach call the Houston-Miss St game last night, talks too dang much. Good insight, kinda funny but like I said, talkie talkie talkie all night long. Seemed unsure of himself at times as to whether he should be talking though which is to be expected when your just getting used to this TV stuff.

He cracks me up. You didn't know he could talk that much, did ya? I didn't either, til he and Arute started their radio show.
He usually clears his throat and umm... yeah, we uh.. um...
If he stays on as a commentator, he could be the next John Madden
