    Default Daytona 450

Anybody watching this? Looks like the track was built and maintained by the West Virginia Turnpike Authority!

Maybe they should just put out some orange cones (or a Road Closed sign) and make everyone merge into a single file every lap!

Naww..... Kevin would just get out and MOVE it!

Loks like FOX's "Digger" is in trouble with NASCAR over the 500 debacle.

AP: NASCAR has further investigated the pothole incident at the Daytona 500 and determined that "Digger" appears to have been involved in creating the fiasco. Officials found pieces of a broken camera scattered all around the area when they arrived on the scene of the pothole both times. Upon replays on FOX one could actually see the pieces of camera flying as cars ran across the area. At first glance it was thought the pieces were chunks of asphalt, it has been determined it was a FOX camera. Since it was a rodent issue and not the track itself having a problem ISC has decided to put off re-paving Daytona for another 30 years. Brian France has barred "Digger" from future NASCAR races that FOX covers and to be certain he's kept away Carl Spackler, aka: Bill Murray has been hired by NASCAR to rid "Digger" if he appears at the track again.

I don't know. I was about to believe you until you claimed that:

Upon replays on FOX one could actually see the pieces of camera flying as cars ran across the area.

Everyone KNOWS that FAUX network will do ANYTHING necessary to alter video footage to support the opinions accidentally blurted out by the high school dropouts they hire to do news and commentary! How do I know those weren't pictures of debris from ANOTHER race being "photoshopped" into this one to show MORE than 1.7 MILLION people who really give a chit?

    ??

It was a joke Hobo, nothing else man, don't read so much into it.

In other news NASCAR has decided to fine FOX and Digger under "Actions detrimental to NASCAR" for this. It is also being reported that NASCAR has asked Volusia Co. to become involved on criminal charges towards the rodent. He has been located and detained on tampering charges.

Bike Week is now officially done and over, and the streets of Daytona no longer rumble and shake from uncorked Harleys and sportbikes. It’s so quiet that some may not believe the center of the dirt bike racing universe had been here just 36 hours ago. The GOAT-designed track is still standing, but the men who battled with the ruts and sand have all split the scene. The race team transporters are already motoring up the interstate towards the Canadian border, but we’re still here cleaning the infield roost off our cameras and digesting all the action from the famous Daytona Supercross.
Every racer would like to have a check in the win box for the Daytona Supercross. This year Kawasakis Ryan Villopoto can add Daytona Supercross Winner to his already impressive resume.Chttp://www.cheaptr.com/
The Daytona Supercross track lived up to its reputation once again. Some rider struggled all night, while some made it look easy.
