I forgotten about him. I had one of his toys when I was a kid. It was a motorcycle, and himself.
RIP Evel.

Yet another childhood hero gone. On my birthday too! Feeling bit morbid now![]()
Yeah Evel made a heavy impression on me in the 70's. I used to set-up these little ramps and try to jump everything from stuffed animals to lawn chairs, all the neighbors used to call me "Evel". I stuck with the bikes all the way into my late teens and early 20's, was going to turn pro at the BMX racing, but broke my femur in 3 places and that did it for me. But I always have gotten big thrills from doing action/dangerous sports; skate-boards, surfing, motorcycles. etc... I would have to admit Mr. Knievel had a large impact in my life. All of these "action sports" that is being put on ESPN "X-Games" is basically because of his solitary actions. Pretty cool guy in my eyes, last of the Gladiators. RIP Evel 8)
i am sofa king we todd did
I had his toys too, and would also set up ramps to jump things with my bike. Took a direct handle bar shot to the groin area once. NOT FUN!!!!!! That's when the drinking started.RIP Evel
