Default dedicated to Farve and the Pack!!!

it is their year and anyone who is a true cheesehead will agree, please feel free to post bad or good, but Farve is gonna get his retirement ring this season this will be one of the best years ever in nfl history!!! forget the colts PAYTON MANNING is over rated, FARVE is a true legend to football history.
the truck driver is not appreciated enough for what they do, for if it wasnt for the truck driver, you wouldnt have nothin!

LOL!! Overrated, Peyton Manning??? He's won a Super Bowl like Favre and will probably crush all of his records too.

We'll see what happens this season. Packers have a chance in the pathetic NFC. It looks like they will have to get past the Cowboys to get to the dance.

Not with the youngsters and the injuries they have. They're making a nice early feel-good run, but they aren't a Super Bowl contender.

this will be one of the best years ever in nfl history!!!
    Hardly.

forget the colts PAYTON MANNING is over rated,
Wow. Now that's just not even a smart comment. Peyton Manning is probably one of the top 5 QB's of all time and by the time he retires, will probably own many of Favres records. In addition, like Favre, Manning is just an all around likeable good guy that plays by the rules. Manning and Favre are in the same elite group of guys. Trashing one, trashes the other.

FARVE is a true legend to football history.
No arguments there. But so is Manning.

Still, in the end, the NFC is going to have to get by the Cowboys and this year, that's not going to be an easy thing to do.

I'll Repeat-We're not very good but like always the Packers play with Heart.
We have people on the Roster I've never even heard of. We have the Youngest team in the NFL and have more injuries than anybody.
Colts and the rest have alot of Veteran players and have been together for a long time. Common sense that they win. Big Deal

We don't even PRETEND to run the ball and Brett and our receivers still find a way to get open

All of a sudden the 8-8 prediction is starting to sound a bit off.

Cowboys and the Colts were expected to win-We Weren't.

I don't know, Yoopr. The Pack is about ready to run into a buzzsaw on their schedule. I think from here on out, it's supposed to get pretty rough, isn't it?

I won't rule out an 8-8 record anymore than I'll rule out a 10-5 record for teams like the Bears and the Chargers.

Of course, I haven't ruled out 16-0 for the Cowboys yet, either.

Cowboys and the Colts were expected to win-We Weren't.
True, but my point was that they are on a nice feel-good roll. They are definitely improved and definitely making people sit up and take notice. But they don't have what it takes to get to the big game. They are just too young and too banged up to legitimately threaten. Favre biggest success story this year will be laying the groundwork for these guys to get good in the next couple of years.

Sure it would and it COULD be a possibility if we had some sort of running game which we don't.
We can't even Fake a running play.

Well hey, you can fake a football team.

    Just kidding.

Actually, my comment about the Pack not being a Super Bowl contender this year was aimed at the original poster.

looking over the rest of the schedule I can see maybe 6 losses.
That would put us at 10-6
If we had healthy running backs it would be much better

You see that loss to the Cowboys on there in November? Got them Red Lobster gift certificates yet? Better get extras. Red Lobster is my daughter's favorite restaurant and she's wanting to go, too.

If we miraculously came up with a couple good RB's to balance the pass we could beat Dallas. Our Defense is certainly better than theirs.

You should pay attention more. 8)

I can see them laying a shutout down on Buffalo next week. The test of their D will be the following week when they play the New England Cheatriots. Traditionally, Moss has eaten Dallas alive. I'm willing to bet that Wilson already has a game plan in place to contain him.

The Cowboys D started slow this year, but have amped it up pretty well. They're now playing at a level the pundits thought they would...which is top 5.

The Cowboys sure are looking good so far, it's a long season though...

what if TO decides to try and kill himself again this year?

Or what if Romo gets caught in a cat fight between Kelly Pickler and Carrie Underwood and has to go on the DL?

Simply put, the Packers are far and away the surprise team of the NFL so far. They are most likely to hit some bumps ahead but still, 4-0 is the best start possible after 4 games. They also have the longest winning streak in the NFL, 8 games I believe, as they won their final 4 last season.

well maybe my prediction was far fetched, i love the packers and farve and i just hope they can pull it off, i never said it would be easy for em, but i still think they could do it, and i do wish we had running backs i will agree.

One of the Ex-players after tonights game was asked who he thought was better between the Pack and Dallas. He said Packers.
IF we had RB's and running game we would be good.

Glad I bought my ticket when I did

Tickets don't come cheap as Packers go for 5-0

If you want to see the Green Bay Packers try for 5-0, it’s going to cost you.

Even the cheap seats are selling for hundreds of dollars online as the green and gold looks to maintain its perfect record Sunday versus the division rival Chicago Bears.

A day after the Pack beat the Minnesota Vikings 23-16 on the road, a sampling of ticket prices leaves no doubt that watching victory doesn’t come cheap. Here’s a sampling of prices listed online today:

    # Stub Hub: prices for available tickets range from $225 to $301 each

    # Event USA: $285 to $575 each

    # eBay: Bids included two tickets for $300 to two for $599, with “Buy it Now” prices up to $849 for two tickets.

    # Coast to Coast tickets: $262 to $780 each

    # TickCo: $296 to $330 each

The Packers and the 1-3 Bears kick off at 7:15 p.m. Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Simply put, the Packers are far and away the surprise team of the NFL so far.
No arguments there. Keeping the momentum, though, is going to be a tough sell, I think.

Or what if Romo gets caught in a cat fight between Kelly Pickler and Carrie Underwood and has to go on the DL?
    Now that's funny!

One of the Ex-players after tonights game was asked who he thought was better between the Pack and Dallas. He said Packers.
Who the heck said that?!? :? Are you talking about the Patriots/Bengals game last night? All the talk was on the Patriots going 16-0 and how much of a chance does Dallas have to pull off a 16-0 season (neither will, to be honest). Dallas is far and away, the best team in the NFC this year, hands down. Taking nothing away from Green Bay's early success, there just ain't anyone that's not on drugs that would say Green Bay was better than Dallas this year. Loyalties aside, that's just simply not the case and you'd have to fail a drug test to think the Packers are the better team this year.
