    Default 2004 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Champion Bobby Hamilton Passes

    Bobby Hamilton succumbed to cancer on Sunday after an 11 month battle with neck cancer.

    ahhh damn-I knew he was sick but with NASCAR kinda out of the spotlight I didn't know.

    He was just like Earnhardt in all respects. Started out with nothing and was living in trash while he toiled around trying to get a decent ride in the Cup series. Finally got his break with the "Days of Thunder" movie as he was the lead driver of the cars during on track filming. Made his Cup debut in 1989 at Phoenix in a car that was used during the filming. Totally sucks, he will be missed.
