I can use power tools, and I'll think about doing your dry cleaning if the rates are good.

Hate to see you sell it. It is a nice looking truck. Didnt you just get that like 6 months ago or something??

Yea, I got it not to long ago. I went from day cab to sleeper. I love the truck. I move to GA in 3 weeks, and I hope that will turn my spirits around. NY sucks. I will not miss it. I think I will do alot better in the South. One day everythings ok, then the next day you want to burn your truck up. So, I'll take it one day at a time right now. I'll try and hold on for a while, but I figured I would throw it out there to see if anyone bites.

Wish you the best of luck. You always had good looking trucks. You had the blue classic right???

Yea, Blue Classic. Dealer gave me full trade value when I got rid of it. It was in perfect shape.
He sold it 2 months later. A guy is hauling fuel with it out of GA and Carolina's I think.

I take like a year before I find the right truck. Very picky.

As for NY. I can do one load a day local and pay $600 dollars a week in tolls.
Down South, I can do the same thing and that $600 dollars could be my salary, and I don't have to deal with the GW, Cross Bronx, or any of that crap.
That is all I need to make to live.
That doesn't mean I haul cheap, it just means I stay home more around the pool with a cocktail.

    Sidman,
Can't you keep thsy nice lookin truck and run it out of GA or are you looking to go back to being a driver or even leave the industry?

Either way good luck with the move and trying to hide that NY accent in the deep south My family moved to Alabama in the early 80's and are still known as "those Yankees that came down here and never left"
